The cottage is situated about 2.5k from Peymeinade, a small town with excellent shops, supermarket, market and a couple of restaurants, large open air pool and tennis courts. There is a very pleasant walk, about 20 minutes down to the village from the cottage. It is about 7k west of Grasse, an interesting town renowned for its perfumeries. There are many world class museums and art galleries at St Paul de Vence, Antibes and Nice. The coast is about 20k and Lac de Saint Cassien about 12k is excellent for watersports. The property is excellently located for visiting some of the lovely old hilltop villages such as Cabris and Spéracèdes and yet the lively contrast of Cannes and the Côte d’Azur is within about 20 minutes’ drive.
"We booked last second whilst in the South of France!
We were referred to the UK office from the France agent and Maria was fantastic and quick sorting us out. Emails and phone calls on the fly as we drove to Le Tinget. The house was awesome, the landlady too! just what we were looking for. The Landlady gave us sound advice on where to visit and where to eat. Will recommend your companies services to friends and we will definitely use you services when next we visit France. Thank you for an awesome job."
